Our efforts are directed toward improving the living conditions of the most disadvantaged children in the third world. We wish to help construct societies where all are able to develop their potentials and where the rights of all are respected.

We recognize that those who have the best ability to thoroughly understand impoverishment are those who are directly affected by it. For this reason, we work closely with local organizations. Starting from their priorities and uniting with professionals from many diverse areas, we work together to carry forward these joint endeavors, adapting our strategies to work within the environmental location and with other development programs.

 

 

Fighting Poverty

The persistence and grave seriousness of poverty as a social phenomenon and as a reality in which millions of those in the third world suffer obliges us to work actively, paying great attention to the effects of poverty and to the training of those involved, so that we may further its eradication.

Most of those who live in absolute poverty around the world are children. They live in constant threat of premature death and suffer from hunger, malnutrition, and all types of diseases. The opportunities to access adequate housing and basic services such as healthcare and education are scarce. They also suffer from social exclusion and discrimination.

Our goal is to help these children and their families find an end to poverty. We regard education as the essential element to combat this phenomenon as well as being vital for proper community development. Another fundamental part of our project is to raise awareness amongst politicians, educators, and society in general concerning poverty, so that they may grasp a true understanding of this social problem which is incumbent upon us all and which is fundamental for the future of humanity.
